I did a quick draw this year at the CM Russel show and sale and painted this feller on his horse, splashing thru the water.  It was only a 1 hour painting so I didn't get to really "finish" it....   I liked it so much I decided to paint a "studio" painting of the same seen.  I love the action... and you can't help but wonder what he is running from.... a story in itself... and another great painting in the future.   Can't you see it?  A possy with pistols drawn?  Maybe an angry husband?  Who knows?    16x12
